The rumors are true. Halloween is, in fact, upon us.
This drink is for all y’all spooky boozy spirits roaming around. Whether you’re the one fully invested in your character, watching Hocus Pocus on repeat, or eating all the candy…that you know was not originally intended for you—I can only hope your Halloween-ness of a day is fulfilled. So let’s keep it short and sweet in honor of this adventurous holiday with my cocktail, “Devil in Disguise.” The latest concoction over here at Bar de Bex is a dangerously trick or treat of a cocktail made up of honey whiskey and espresso liqueur. Keepin’ you alive, keepin’ you sexy, keepin’ you sweet.
So cheers to you, whoever you may be today.
- 2 oz American Honey Whiskey
- 1¼ Espresso Liqueur
- 1 Pure sugar cane cube
- 2 dashes of Chocolate bitters
* Muddle sugar cube, add remaining ingredients. Shake with ice and strain into a coupe glass.
