It’s official: I’m 26 years old.
To celebrate, I tried to pretend I was 21 by taking shots Friday night and they didn’t go over well that night, but they really didn’t go over well the next morning on the 3-hour drive to Tahoe. Luckily I wasn’t the only sad, sick, late-twenties-human in the car and the boy couldn’t even eat a hamburger when we stopped. It was a rough start to my 26th year, but we eventually made it to the lake and after promptly breaking the tent, we headed to the freezing cold lake to try to wash away the toxins.
Things started looking up from there. We ate s’mores by the fire and told ghost stories (we’re actually 12-year-olds), then woke up early sans hangover (thank Buddha) to hike around South Lake. We found a waterfall, so we immediately jumped the fence and climbed it. We found a snake, some funny looking birds that a lady told us were called chuckies and a billion adorable chipmunks before renting stand up paddleboards and putzing around the lake as the indecisive sky threw us sunshine, rain, thunder, wind and more sunshine. And of course I had to do a headstand for the camera.
Four more days ’til Outside Lands! Nine more days ’til Vegas!
Then it’s time to set some goals and chill TFO for a minute. We’ll see if that actually happens.
How was your weekend?

Happy late birthday! Looks like you had a fun weekend (aside from the hangover). Kudos on the headstand on the paddle board–I can't do a headstand on the ground let alone a paddleboard

Belated happy birthday dear! I am glad that you enjoyed a lot together. I also attended a grand wedding reception party on last weekend. It was hosted at some domestic reception halls in Atlanta. Really it turned out to be a blasting weekend for me and my fiancé!
