Here are a few snapshots from this past week. I’ve been trying to do a lot of things without a lot of time to do them, and as a result, I’ve had some great experiences and an off-kilter work-life-blog balance. I have beer, wine, soy milk and like two eggs on my fridge shelf right now. I signed up for a 15K I haven’t started training for. I keep going to trivia night even though I’m terrible at it. I went through an entire package of Ramen Noodles in a couple weeks. My split ends are out of control. I’ve met a lot of people, explored, laughed and consumed so many delicious meals and beverages not prepared by me. I decided to quit my second job in an effort to regain balance–cooking, cleaning, exercising and, of course, blogging will hopefully all be making a comeback in the near future. I’m pretty excited about life, you guys. I hope you are too. Now go make Monday your bitch!

Sometimes food tastes so much better when it's made by someone else, you know? Even Ramen. Oh, Ramen, I don't know how to quit you.
Cheers to finding balance!

sometimes the work-life needs to trump the blog. especially during this best time of year!

Blogging definitely gets to be a struggle with so many other things going on in life. But, eventually, the priorities seem to rise to the top. Good luck with that 15K. I haven't yet made the leap from 5K to 15K. But I definitely know the feeling of signing up for a race without training.
