It’s amazing to me that I can already wear sweaters and long sleeve tees to run in. I love it. It’s amazing to me that it has been almost five months since I was running the Rock ‘n Roll half marathon in Seattle, and it’s amazing to me that the Disney Wine & Dine half marathon is this weekend. I am so grateful for the changing of seasons, in every sense. I am not a religious person (like, really not), but I heard this song by The Byrds when I was little and I’ve always thought it was awesome. When I started learning about the bible and found out it was from Ecclesiastes, I always kind of clung to it.
“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
Even though change is terrifying a lot of times (actually, most of the time), where would we be without it? I would grow so bored of cute boots, scarves and sweaters if it was always cold out. I would long for jorts, flip flops and sundresses. As it is, I’m longing for the west coast. I have two more months of living in the town where I had my first kiss, got my driver’s license, graduated high school and 30 minutes away from where I graduated college. Almost all my cousins, aunts, uncles, brother, sisters, parents and grandma live in Florida. I don’t have any phone numbers memorized that don’t have the area code (352), and I’m moving to California. The opposite side of the country. My only new year’s resolution will be to find a job, and I know I will. Because it’s time for a change.
I am so thankful for change.

Change is so good, but I'm so awful at accepting it! Can I come visit in Cali? It's one of my absolute favorite places! Also, I just can't get over all of your cute outfits! I'm loving that chunky sweater- it looks so cozy!

Change is good. Embrace it. Decide what you want to do then figure out the details. I know you will find what you are looking for
